The platform underwriters work in, and the coverage it writes
The PolySea platform is live at polysea.ai. It turns published engineering standards and operator telemetry into priced, carrier-ready coverage across six coordinated lines for autonomous systems.
One system from submission to claim
Live at polysea.ai. Nine capabilities that move a risk from a loss-run PDF to a bound, monitored, coordinated program, and the claim back through Reserv.
AI loss-run extraction
Upload any loss-run PDF and the engine extracts every claim, financial field, and cross-page entry in seconds. Multi-page claims, complex tables, and inconsistent carrier formats are handled automatically, with confidence scoring and a full audit trail.
Dynamic exposure adjustment
Operators change fleet composition on Monday and have their premium adjusted by Friday. Exposure is recalculated continuously as the underlying fleet and asset schedule change, not once a year at renewal.
Engineering-controls workbench
Underwriters work the four catalogs directly, answering the controls questions, applying credit-earning thresholds, and pricing the operation rather than the building. Published standards rendered as structured underwriting work.
Telemetry intake
Operator telemetry captured at policy binding (State of Charge, charging cycles, fleet composition) feeds a proprietary data layer that priced risk and earned credits draw from.
Active Monitoring engine
We monitor the telemetry and notify the operator; the operator decides how to act. An opt-in model proven in cyber, applied to physical AI — operational diligence, grounded in the data operators already share.
Submission packaging
Assemble a complete, carrier-ready submission from extracted loss runs, the SOV, and the engineering-controls profile, with per-carrier export profiles for consistent, compliant delivery.
Transaction workflows
Multi-party workflows between operators, brokers, and carriers: configurable approvals, delegation authority, status handoffs, and a complete audit trail across the lifecycle from binding through endorsement and renewal.
Reserv claims integration
Claims flow into Reserv, closing the loop from binding to loss. The same data layer that prices the risk informs claims handling and feeds learnings back into underwriting.
SOV & asset management
Centralized Statement of Value with property detail, insurance values, automatic TIV, custom fields, bulk import, and GitHub-style change-request workflows for multi-party review of asset modifications.
Six lines, four catalogs, two products
The platform exists to write a specific framework: a coordinated program built on published engineering standards and a two-sided product model.
Six lines, one coordinated program
Warehouse robotics workforces
Operating-model filter + cause-of-loss schedule credit.
Li-Ion banks, AMR fleets, AS/RS
Li-Ion endorsement + State-of-Charge pricing. v0.5 launch line.
Mobile robotic equipment in operation
Manuscripted Robotic Equipment Floater. v0.5 launch line.
Automated DCs, cold storage
FM engineering-controls credit + cyber-triggered BI extension.
Third-party BI/PD from autonomy
ISO Sept 2024 AV/EV classes + Koop coordination.
Autonomous trucking fleets (L3+ ADS)
Class 7219 schedule credit + Benavides-aware reinsurance.
Four engineering-controls catalogs
The primary v0.5 focus: energy-storage and charging-area controls.
Hydrogen storage, handling, and dispensing controls.
Industrial robot safety: guarding, interlocks, restricted space.
Powered-industrial-truck operation and battery handling.
Two products, two buyers, one underwriter
Landlord property gap-fill
Fills the autonomous-adjacent gap the standard market is retreating from on warehouse and DC property, sitting on the landlord side of the lease.
Operator coverage
The coordinated multi-line program for the operator running the fleet. Feeds the same telemetry data layer as the property product.
A cross-discount aligns landlord and tenant. PolySea sits on both sides of the lease, with the cheapest pricing reserved for compliant configurations.
See the platform underwrite a real submission.
Bring a loss run and an asset schedule. We'll walk the engineering-controls workbench, the telemetry intake, and the coordinated program against a live risk.
